Well done to this year’s Prestwick and District DTC award winners. At the top left is Harriet Myrtle with Alfie having won the Katy Quaich for best junior handler in obedience and top mid is Bobby Wilson and Pippa – the best veteran dog still competing in agility, winning the Taz Trophy. Olwyn McShane and Dougal appear top right having won the Yakima Runner Trophy for best agility dog and handler. Ainslie Martin is centre with Percy winning Flyball Dog of the Year, and bottom right is Debbie Prince with Poppie who was awarded the Meggie Trophy for best performance by a member at the club’s obedience and agility shows. Bottom mid is Danielle Van Son and Tan having won the Batchelor Salver for the most improved dog in obedience, and bottom left is Abby Smith with Harvey who won a special award from the flyball trainer for effort, commitment and perseverance in the face of significant challenge.
